Will a decent khaki suit please stand up?

After having lost close to 50lbs I no longer have clothes that fit like they should. True, I could try and pull off the good ol' college uniform, you know...button down dress shirt one size too big, baggy jeans maybe with a tear to give them that "distressed" look, and the kicker, sandals. But, lets face it, those days are long gone. I have been shopping around for a good quality suit. I have one black and one grey suit that really don't fit anymore AND the pants have about 1,000 pleats on them. Given the heat and humidity of Houston, I have been searching high and low for a good cotton khaki two botton notch lapel suit with FLAT front pants. I found a great one at my favorite store, J. Crew. (see below). I know the rule is a dark suit for an evening wedding, but when our evenings are in the lower 80's I think that can be broken. Thoughts?

Eat Houston

Let it be known that Mexican food has not gone out of style. Living in Houston, Texas it seems like there is a Mexican food restaurant on every corner. I recently heard that Houston has the most number of restaurants per square capita than any other city in America. Maybe this has to do with why we are always at the top of the charts when it comes to obesity?? There's something there. Anyway, getting back to the reason for my post. Given the number of Mexican food restaurants popping up around the city, it is hard to find REALLY GOOD Mexican food. [Insert] Teala's.

There is something different about Teala's, be it the no frills rustic decor characteristic of a Texas barbeque joint, or the black bean dip served to you upon arrival. They describe their food as a mix of Mexican/Thai calling on fresh seafood, hot peppers, lime, and cilantro. My favorite mexican food dish is Cochinita (puerco) pibil. It is a slow roasted pork dish typically found in the Yucatan. There are very few restaurants that offer this dish and very few get it right. Teala's hits a home run with their Cochinita & tacos pibil. The pork evokes a sweetness which is in line with the citrus marinating process. On a nice summer day enjoy your meal on their awesome patio with a tequila and lime. Buen Provecho.
